About the role

We are looking for a Global Mobility Expert (m/f/d) to establish and scale our global mobility function from scratch - focusing on employee moves to/from Germany but supporting all nationalities and routes. 
This role is for someone who wants and can build, not just manage. You’ll have the freedom to design and implement a function that directly enables our global success. You will report to the Head of People.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build the function: Design and implement a global mobility strategy, processes, and policies tailored to our growth and culture.
  • Ensure compliance: Manage all legal, tax, and social security requirements for international assignments, relocations, and visa processes.
  • Select and manage partners: Work with relocation agencies, tax advisors, lawyers, and visa specialists when needed.
  • Deliver employee experience: Provide end-to-end support for employees, acting as the main point of contact for all requests.
  • Leverage technology: Implement and optimize our chosen mobility software workflex. Integrate with our travel booking and HRIS.
  • Report and improve: Track costs, timelines, and success metrics; continuously refine processes as the company grows internationally.

Your Profile

  • Experience: 3-5 years in global mobility, preferably in consulting or scale-up, with a track record of building processes from scratch. 
  • Expertise: You have a broad knowledge of mobility regulations (visa, tax, social security, labor law), and you know when to consult experts. 
  • Hands-on: Ability to design, implement, and scale processes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Communication: Very good English is mandatory; German is a plus.
  • Mindset: Solution-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a scaleup culture.
  • Certifications in global mobility are a plus (e.g., GMS, Mercer, IHK).
