People Analytics Specialist (m/f/d)

Germany, Munich (HQ)
Full-time
Permanent employee

About the role

Our People & Talent team is looking for a People Analytics Specialist (m/f/d) to help build and scale our people and talent analytics capability.

This is a hands-on builder role for someone who enjoys creating structure, establishing foundations, and turning people data into meaningful business insights using not only descriptive but diagnostic and predictive (potentially causal) analytics where applicable.

With Workday and Greenhouse recently implemented, this role offers the opportunity to help re-shape how workforce and talent data is managed, analyzed, and consumed across the organization.

The guiding principle? Simple, lean, robust, and scalable. Success is measured by clarity of insights, data quality, and decision impact; not volume of reporting or slide production.

Your Responsibilities

People Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards, reports, and analytics across Workday, Greenhouse, and BI tools
  • Develop reporting that enables clear visibility on workforce and talent trends
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and decision-oriented insights beyond standard reporting

Data Foundations & Quality

  • Design and maintain scalable reporting structures, definitions, and data models
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems
  • Establish sustainable processes for data governance and reporting maintenance

Automation & Analytics Evolution

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting and reduce manual processes
  • Contribute to advancing the people analytics roadmap
  • Introduce best practices in analytics, workforce planning, and data-driven decision-making

Audit and Due Diligence Support

  • Provide accurate, audit-ready workforce data (headcount, comp, org structure, turnover) for internal, external, and investor audits on request
  • Build reusable data packages/templates for recurring DD and audit requests to cut turnaround time and manual pulls
  • Maintain full data traceability so figures hold up under audit and investor scrutiny

Essential Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in People Analytics, HRIS Analytics, Workforce Analytics, or comparable roles in fast-paced or scaling organizations
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and data structures, ideally Workday
  • Strong expertise in building dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Excel, Alteryx)
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into structured analyses and meaningful insights
  • Exposure to workforce planning or advanced people analytics topics (e.g. driver analysis, predictive modelling)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to operate in an evolving environment with incomplete structures and processes
  • Familiarity with data modelling and improving data architecture in HR systems
  • Fluent in English, German knowledge is a plus
