About the role
We are looking for a passionate Robotics Demo Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Marketing department and take ownership of a small demo team of working students. You will coordinate day-to-day demo operations, mentor working students, keep setups ready for events and visits, and present cutting-edge AI applications with confidence.
Your Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a small team of working students that prepare and run robotics demos for Agile Robots
- Coordinate demo operations within the marketing department, including schedules, setups, and on-site execution
- Operate, maintain, and adapt demo systems initially delivered by robotics development teams using AgileCore
- Collaborate with robotics development teams to hand over, understand, and refine demo setups for marketing use
- Guide and mentor working students in operating robotic hardware, basic software workflows, and professional demo presentation
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechatronic and system issues that arise during preparation and live demos
- Support trade fairs, customer visits, and internal showcases with reliable, well-prepared robotic demonstrations
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Solid mechatronics background with experience assembling, commissioning, and maintaining robotic or automation hardware
- Experience with robotic hardware (robot arms, cameras, AGVs, grippers, sensors, or similar)
- Competence to coordinate a team of working students
- Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic CAD modeling experience for fixtures, mounts, or demo-related mechanical adaptions
- Basic programming skills in Python or C++
- Strong communication skills at the juncture of Marketing and Engineering
- Fluent English skills, German is a plus
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in live demo environments
